U18s bounce back with big win

Our Under 18s bounced back from recent disappointments with a 4-0 win against Basingstoke Town on Thursday.

Slough Town's Under 18s played Basingstoke Town on Thursday night, looking to bounce back from a poor performance.

Slough started well, playing the ball around without creating many chances. The young Rebels took the lead from a corner headed back in by Mason Hart which found Tom Jenkins, who swivelled and found the bottom corner.

The Rebels took their lead into the break and extended it in the second half when Zak Zaoui headed home from a corner.

Basingstoke tried to get back into the game and had a few chances that came and went.

Slough got the killer third goal when substitute Joseph Roberts cut in from left and found the top corner.

And Slough added a fourth in the closing stages after a great run from Jamie Okoli, who found Joseph Roberts in the box to finish.

The match ended 4-0 after what was a really good performance and a well-earned three points for the young Rebels.
