Following an official approach, we can confirm that Paul Hodges has left the club for a permanent move to Southern League Premier side Farnborough, writes Neil Baker.
It is clear for all to see that Farnborough have aspirations to finish high up the table, and with the emergence of Eitel, Gabe and Joe, plus the return of Matt Lench, it would be impossible for us to guarantee Hodgey minutes. At this stage of his career he wants to be playing on a regular basis, which we totally respect.
Paul is a lovely lad who has not had a great deal of luck since joining in February 2020 with COVID-19, injury and a suspension, however he has left on great terms, and we wish him all the best at Farnborough this season.
