This evening we welcome Ebbsfleet United to Arbour Park for the first time as we look to build on the very welcome three points gained at the weekend, writes Jon Underwood.
Our opponents are widely regarded as a team well-fancied for promotion and although they currently sit just outside the playoff positions, we still fully expect them to be challenging the top 3 or 4 positions in the table. Within their squad they have former Rebel James Dobson, who was such a key player for the club and we look forward to seeing him again.
Our win on Saturday should not be under-estimated. Having not played for four and a half weeks going in to the game, and with just two training sessions under our belt, we were never going to be at our best but the effort, commitment and character we showed was fantastic and for that alone we deserved the win.
We lost Guy Hollis in the warm-up with an ankle problem and he will miss out tonight. Max Worsfold picked up a slight issue with his knee on Saturday and was withdrawn, and he will have a fitness test before we decide if he can play a part. Other than that we hope to have a full squad to choose from and will select from the 17 players available:
Squad: Jack Turner, Josh Jackman, Sean Fraser, Louis Lomas, Sam Togwell, Mark Nisbet, Lee Togwell, Aaron Kuhl, Cam McGilp, Scott Davies, Warren Harris, Jack McKnight, Max Worsfold, Paul Hodges, Ryan Bird, Ben Harris and Dan Roberts.
