Tomorrow we make the short journey to Dorking Wanderers, where we play them for the first time at their new ground, writes Neil Baker.
We come into the game off the back of our first away defeat in six at Havant on Wednesday, and we also have the slight disadvantage of having played on an extremely heavy pitch, whilst Dorking have had a free midweek - however we will just have to get on with it and hope the lads can get through without any injuries, which can sometimes be the problem after such little rest and having played on a pitch like that.
Dorking are having an excellent first season in the National League South, however this does not come as any surprise to us as their squad is packed full of excellent players - and if they don’t manage to get up this season, I would see them as one of the favourites for next season with the backing they have.
We were obviously bitterly disappointed to lose the first game of the season to Dorking where we felt the assistant referee had a direct impact on the final score, however we had to put that behind us, and we come here today looking to try and get a positive result.
In terms of team news, we expect to have George Wells (work), Ryan Bird (personal) and Josh Jackman (slight niggle) all available, and having not picked up any real injuries on Wednesday we have a full squad to choose from. With that in mind, Manny Williams will play for Harrow Borough and we can name from the following 16 players:
Jack Turner, Josh Jackman, Sean Fraser, George Wells, Guy Hollis, Ryan Bird, Mark Nisbet, Warren Harris, Max Worsfold, Paul Hodges, Lee Togwell, Sam Togwell, Scott Davies, Matt Lench, Ben Harris and Dan Roberts.
