Squad news: Slough welcome Havant to Arbour Park

Jon Underwood provides an update on the squad as Slough prepare to welcome third-placed Havant & Waterlooville to Arbour Park.

14/02/20

We look forward to the challenge of facing a very strong Havant & Waterlooville side tomorrow, writes Jon Underwood.

They remain undefeated away from home this season which is an incredible feat at this stage of the season, given the tough and competitive nature of this league.

With 13 games to go we have put ourselves in a fantastic position, and the three points we picked up at Welling last weekend pushed us back above Havant into second place. There will no doubt be many twists and turns in the promotion race in the coming months and no single match will define where we end up, but clearly this is a big one for both sides.

We are pleased to report a clean bill of health going in to this game with three players getting valuable game time with Staines Town in midweek (Scott Davies, Manny Williams and Louie Soares) and the full squad training last night, and we are able to choose from a 17-man squad.

With the club putting on another great incentive for this game, this time a 'Ladies Day' promotion, we look forward to seeing more new faces down at Arbour Park. The support of everyone in the town really is vital as we enter such an important stage of the season.

Squad: Jack Turner, Josh Jackman, George Wells, Ryan Bird, Guy Hollis, Mark Nisbet, Sam Togwell, Sean Fraser, Lee Togwell, Scott Davies, Matt Lench, Max Worsfold, Warren Harris, Louie Soares, Dan Roberts Ben Harris, Manny Williams.
