Squad news: Slough set for tough test at Billericay

An update on the squad from Jon Underwood ahead of tomorrow's trip to Essex.

10/01/20

We look forward to a trip to Essex tomorrow as we face a Billericay side who have not lost at home this season, writes Jon Underwood.

They had a great 3-1 win there on Tuesday against the leaders Wealdstone and will no doubt be full of confidence, making this a difficult game, but this is exactly the type of challenge we look forward to and relish.

We have got ourselves in to a fantastic position in the league and the second half of the season is shaping up to be really competitive with so many strong sides pushing to either win the league or make the playoffs.

The players were given Tuesday night off due to the busy Christmas period and the illness we had in the camp last weekend but thankfully everyone has recovered well. We had a positive training session last night and are well prepared for tomorrow.

We will be without Mark Nisbet (knee), Guy Hollis (suspension) and Ben Harris (away) and will choose from the following 15-man squad.

Squad: Jack Turner, Josh Jackman, George Wells, Ryan Bird, Sam Togwell, Sean Fraser, Lee Togwell, Scott Davies, Matt Lench, Max Worsfold, Warren Harris, Joe Grant, Dan Roberts, Francis Amartey, Manny Williams.
