We have had an overwhelming response to our appeal for volunteers and donations of essential items for Sunday 22 December, when we are opening Arbour Park to Slough’s homeless, providing food, showers and haircuts.
We now have a full quota of volunteers, with many more who have offered help on a 'reserve list'. We would like to thank everyone for their interest in helping out.
However we are still appealing for donations of any of the below items. Please bring them along to our home game against Braintree Town (Saturday 7 December) and leave them with Mark Bailey – ask for him behind the bar in the main stand.
• Warm coats
• Sleeping bags
• Jumpers / Hoodies
• Men’s trainers sizes 9-11
• NEW underwear and socks
• Blankets and clean towels
• Toiletries – toothbrushes, toothpaste, roll on deodorant (non-aerosol), Shower gels
• Books – Fiction and non-fiction
