We return to league action tomorrow with Tonbridge Angels the visitors to Arbour Park as we look to continue our excellent National League South form.
Our opponents are managed by Steve McKimm, who we both played with at Farnborough. He was an extremely competitive and hard-working player and his team will reflect this. Having been promoted via the playoffs they took a little time to settle in the league but have now done so, picking up some decent results recently. Their home form has been significantly better than their away form but it's only a matter of time before they start picking up more points on the road and we will need to be on top of our game, as you have to be every week in this league.
It was great to see player-coach Lee Togwell come through a full training session last night after a month on the sidelines with an ankle injury and his return to the squad is a big boost for the squad at such a vital stage of the season.
Francis Amartey also returns having been cup-tied for the FA Trophy games but we lose Ben Harris for this game with a 1-match suspension having accumulated 5 bookings.
Guy Hollis is in need of some more game time and will get 90 minutes elsewhere tomorrow as he looks to build his match fitness.
The club is working really hard at the minute to build the crowds at Arbour Park with some great initiatives. With the players doing their bit on the pitch currently we hope to see this reflected in our attendances and would encourage all our fans to get down to support us over these next two Saturdays and leave the Christmas shopping until the 14th when we don't have a game!
Squad: Jack Turner, Josh Jackman, George Wells, Ryan Bird, Mark Nisbet, Sam Togwell, Sean Fraser, Lee Togwell, Matt Lench, Scott Davies, Max Worsfold, Warren Harris, Dan Roberts, Manny Williams, Francis Amartey.
