Preview: Rebels prepare for Eastbourne trip

Jon Underwood provides an update as Slough prepare for a trip to Eastbourne tomorrow.

06/09/19

After an important win on Tuesday and a great run of recent form we look forward to a trip to Eastbourne tomorrow, writes Jon Underwood.

Our opponents' form has been good in recent weeks with creditable 0-0 draws at Havant and Welling and an impressive 4-1 win against Hampton in their last home game. Lee Bradbury has put together a good side with plenty of experience and quality and this will no doubt be a tough game.

Our six match unbeaten run has given us huge confidence and we were delighted with our performance on Tuesday which as managers we felt was our best for a long time. The league table is starting to look a lot more favourable but this is not the time to relax and we have to continue working hard every week if we are to get ourselves into that top half.

On the injury front Guy Hollis remains out with a knee injury, while Sean Fraser is very close to a return but will not be risked tomorrow.

We did have two players who sat out of training last night to nurse slight knocks, plus one illness concern within the camp, but we hope all three will be available and that we will have 17 players to choose from.

Squad: Jack Turner, Josh Jackman, George Wells, Sam Togwell, Mark Nisbet, Lee Togwell, Simon Dunn, Matt Lench, Scott Davies, Max Worsfold, Joe Grant, Warren Harris, Dan Roberts, Ryan Bird, Ben Harris, Manny Williams, Francis Amartey.
