We are delighted to announce the signing of 26 year old attacking midfielder Max Worsfold from Maidenhead United.
Max became known to us during his time as captain at Staines Town, where he played in the same team as Jack Turner, playing over 250 games in 5 seasons. In this time he was involved in numerous goals and assists.
Due to the change to full-time football for Maidenhead this summer which he was unable to commit to, we were quick to get him on board.
Max is a hard-working tenacious player, who we feel will come in and help strengthen the squad. Whilst he probably did not have the season he was hoping for at the Magpies last season due to a couple of injuries, we believe that he will come in and hit the ground running.
