At the recent Slough Town Juniors FC presentation, it was announced that two club captain roles were to be introduced, one each from the boys and girls sections.
The players appointed to these roles for the coming season were selected as they are always excellent role models for the younger players, get involved and volunteer and always represent the club well, both on and off the pitch. They both play in the oldest age ranges and are both amongst the longest serving players of the club.
Alfie Tormey joined Slough Town Juniors as an U9 player when the team started and has been ever-present as they move to U17. He has been helping to coach the new U7 team recently and leads his team by example.
Emily Madigan has been with Slough Town U14 girls since they started as U10s. She is always willing to help with the younger teams, has refereed and also volunteers on match days.
The appointments are recognition of Alfie and Emily’s commitment and efforts over the years. Congratulations to them both!
