Squad update: Bath City

Jon Underwood provides an update on the squad ahead of tomorrow's meeting with Bath City.

30/10/20

We are pleased to have been able to add to our squad this week with the loan signing of 19-year-old forward Malachi Linton, who earned a deal in the summer with Wycombe Wanderers as part of their newly formed B team, writes Jon Underwood.

He started as a youngster at Ipswich Town before switching to Crewe Alexandra and playing at U23 level as an 18-year-old. He spent last season with Lowestoft Town, a level below us, scoring 13 goals before impressing the Wycombe staff on trial in the summer.

Mal has trained with us twice in the past week and goes straight in to the squad tomorrow for the game with Bath City at Arbour Park as we look to avenge the FA Cup defeat at their hands a few weeks ago.

Our games against Bath are always closely fought and we expect this one to be no different. Like us, they have had some difficult games in the early part of the season and both sides will look at this as an opportunity to pick up a morale-boosting win.

Warren Harris will face a late fitness test having picked up a toe injury at work during the week, and we remain without Ben Harris and Ada Okorogheye but the two week break since the Welling game has enabled a few other players to recover from various 'knocks' and the squad is starting to look in better health.

Mark Nisbet has managed to get two games under his belt following his successful heart operation, and he will again be with Beaconsfield Town tomorrow while Guy Hollis has trained fully with us twice this week, and we'll be looking to get him some game time next week.

We hope a good number of supporters can again cheer us on from home using the streaming service and we hope we can reward you with a good performance and the three points.

Squad: Jack Turner, Josh Jackman, Louis Lomas, Sam Togwell, Ryan Bird, Lee Togwell, Sean Fraser, Aaron Kuhl, Cameron McGilp, Jack McKnight, Matthew Lench, Warren Harris, Max Worsfold, Paul Hodges, Dan Roberts, Malachi Linton.

Due to the current guidelines, Saturday's match will be played behind closed doors. We know it won't be the same without our loyal supporters there cheering the team on, but we will providing a live stream for a fee of £7.99.
