Preview: Slough set for Somerset trip

Tomorrow Slough travel to Weston-super-Mare looking to build on a run of three games unbeaten.

25/01/19

Tomorrow we make the journey to Weston-super-Mare looking to build on our run of three games unbeaten in the National League South.

Whilst on paper people will see Weston at the bottom of the league, for us they have been very tough opponents in both games we have played this season, which has resulted in one narrow win (where we had to come from behind) and a narrow defeat in the FA Trophy.

They play very good football and we will have to be at our best to come away with anything. Since the start of the New Year they have traveled to Gloucester, Eastbourne and Truro where they have won one and drawn two, and lost a narrow game 3-2 at home against Billericay Town, so are in reasonably good form.

Again we go into the match in pretty good shape, with no injuries to report.

Ben Harris returns from his suspension, whilst Manny Williams will get 90 minutes for Basingstoke Town before returning for Tuesday’s game against Billericay.

Nathan Smart will continue with Hartley Wintney, which means we will travel with the following 15-man squad:

Jack Turner, Sean Fraser, Josh Jackman, George Wells, Guy Hollis, Mark Nisbet, Sam Togwell, Scott Davies, Simon Dunn, Lee Togwell, Matthew Lench, Warren Harris, Louie Soares, Chris Flood and Ben Harris

* Don't forget that the supporters coach to Weston leaves St Joseph's School at 11:00, and we will be serving breakfast at Arbour Park from 9:30 to 10:30. Enjoy a 'Full English' with tea or coffee for £5, or a bacon/sausage roll with tea or coffee for just £3!
