Goals from Chris Flood, Gavin James and Manny Williams ensured Slough won at Honeycroft and remained unbeaten this pre-season.

Williams grazed the outside of a post as early as the third minute and Uxbridge could have taken the lead on 18 minutes, but Jack Turner saved with his legs after a short backpass let the hosts in.

Simon Dunn put a shot over and Brad Wadkins had an effort saved in an otherwise tight first half.

The visitors opened the scoring on the hour mark from the penalty spot. Williams was brought down in the box, and Flood made no mistake from 12 yards.

Slough took control and James went close minutes later after he burst through, but could not get his shot on target.

But James was not to be denied and he doubled the Rebels' lead on 73 minutes, calmly slotting home after a lofted ball over the top set him free.

Nine minutes later, Manny Williams added a third, smashing home after James pulled the ball across.

And with the last action of the game, Wadkins played in James and the striker grabbed his second and Slough's fourth goal.

Next up for the Rebels is a visit from Premier League side West Bromwich Albion for Kevin McGoldrick's Testimonial. Tickets will be available on the turnstiles on the day, and continue to be available to purchase online.
