Neither Slough nor opponents Farnborough could find the net in normal time, but Boro triumphed in a penalty shootout to seal a place in tomorrow's final against hosts Hendon, whilst the Rebels will face Carshalton Athletic.

Slough had an effort cleared off the line in the first half, whilst Farnborough's Nic Ciardini saw a goal disallowed.

Good play down the left between Lewis Putman and Paul Stonehouse resulted in Charlie Moone curling a shot wide.

Gavin James fired over the bar, whilst Farnborough's Oli was denied by Mark Scott.

Moone really should have scored from Putman's corner, but headed wide.

Battie's free kick from 25 yards was well held by Scott, and later trialist Losasso had an effort saved before Moone's shot was blocked and then Brad Hewitt's header was cleared off the line.

Hewitt later saw another effort cleared off the line as Slough went close, but the game ended goalless and a penalty competition decided the result.

Moone and Lee Barney were on target, but Gurkan Gokmen hit the post and Losasso was denied by a save, whilst Boro scored all four of their kicks.

Slough will now play Carshalton Athletic at 1pm tomorrow (Sunday), again at Hendon FC.
