Goals from Charlie Moone and Paul Stonehouse secured victory for the Rebels in their pre-season friendly at Holloways Park.

Just three minutes into the contest, Moone was upended in the penalty area, and he stepped up to convert the resulting spot kick.

Slough went on to dominate, with Gavin James forcing a point blank save from a Moone cross, whilst Mark Nisbet headed an effort against the crossbar shortly after.

Nisbet scooped another shot over the bar from a corner, but Slough extended their lead on 35 minutes. Good play down the left from James and Harrison Gilkes resulted in Stonehouse having space for a shot which was deflected past the SYCOB goalkeeper.

The second half was much more open, and chances were few and far between. Simon Dunn headed a cross from Charlie Losasso over with 20 minutes remaining, and ten minutes from time Lewis Putman rounded the goalkeeper only for his effort to be cleared.

The home side pulled a goal back with two minutes remaining, but could not force an equaliser.
