An early second-half strike from striker Scott Harris was cancelled out minutes later by Christopher Benjamin as Slough’s penultimate pre-season friendly ended in a draw.
It was the home side who started brightly and Slough had Jake Somerville to thank early on as he made two good saves in quick succession. The first was an outstanding save low to his left after Harrow found themselves through on goal and the second a good stop from close range before the home side hit the post.
The Rebels soon began to take the game to their opponents, but never created any clear-cut chances in the first half with a shot wide from the area by skipper Adam Foulser their only real effort on goal.
That soon changed in the second-half as the Rebels looked far more threatening. They took the lead just a minute after the break when substitute Scott Harris found the net with a fine strike from the edge of the box, having just replaced Aaron Lansiquot.
That lead could have been doubled soon after when a fine strike from Ollie Burgess from 25-yards hit the post and rebounded to safety.
Minutes after that escape Harrow equalised. A free-kick from the right was not dealt with by the Slough defence allowing Benjamin to stab the ball past Somerville into the net.
Further chances fell to both sides with Scott Harris inches away from grabbing his second, then late on Harrow fired wide when well placed but in truth neither side deserved to lose and a draw was a fair result in this competitive friendly.
