Slough surged to a second high-scoring victory in their latest friendly at Holyport.

The Rebels clicked into gear quickly and took the lead when Johnnie Dyer finished from inside the six yard box after a free kick was headed across goal, in his first appearance of pre-season after missing the Sandhurst match.

More superb passing and movement led to a second, with Slough working the ball to Darren Wheeler on the left. His cross was headed in by skipper Adam Foulser, who surged forward from the back.

Foulser found the target again, this time from Wheeler's corner, to give Slough a three-goal interval lead - a move straight off the training ground.

Goals continued to rain in, with Ed Smith powering a shot across the Holyport keeper and in at the far post, and Ollie Burgess making it five with a super strike into the bottom corner.

Scott Harris got in on the act when he dummied and drilled the ball into the bottom corner from outside the box.

Slough's left side then contributed further goals as Ryan Lake headed in another corner, before Ryan Blake followed up after a shot had been saved to make it eight.

Scott Harris added a ninth late on to wrap up another superb performance from Slough against a good Holyport side who should perform well in the Hellenic Premier League this season.
