Two goals in the space of a minute saw Slough end their pre-season campaign with a 1-1 draw away at Thame United.
Managed by former Slough Town player Mark West, it was the home side who started brightly with goalkeeper Steve Smith forced into two fine saves early on.
Slough soon began to keep the ball for long periods of the half and were unlucky not to take the lead when a fine volley from Ben Abbey hit the side netting.
In the second-half it was the Rebels who started the half well, with substitute Sean Sonner shooting over the bar early on.
Sonner was involved again as Slough took the lead midway through the half. He pulled back a long-cross from Danny Murphy into a dangerous area with a Thame defender unfortunately turning the ball into his own net as the away side took the lead.
Thame were not to be denied a deserved equaliser though and less than a minute later they scored to level the game as the match finished as a draw.
