Slough looked to put last weeks mauling at Boreham Wood firmly behind them but again suffered a goalscoring drought at Stag Meadow as the visitors once again came away with three points.

A brace from Gary Burrell in the second half was enough for the Swifts as the Essex side picked up their third win in a row when playing away at Slough.

Slough welcomed Jon Mills, a defender from Yeading, and Errol Telemaque, returning from suspension, but struggled again to cause any concern for the opposing defence.

In a first half of few chances at either end, Drake had to save well from a header at his near post and Telemaque's looping header going narrowly over were all either side had to show for forty five minutes of effort.

Kieron Drake was again at fault as a long ball over the top should have been collected by the Slough goalkeeper but inexplicably he bundled the ball over his shoulder allowing Burrell to side foot into an empty net, although it nearly went the wrong side of the far post.

Burrell was the scorer again as the away side doubled their lead. Running onto a threaded through ball on the left hand side of the area, a composed finish low under Drake and across goal saw him double his tally for the game.
