Slough put in a stunning second half performance to blow away their hosts. Twenty days after the reverse fixture, which was Slough run out comfortable 3-1 winners, Slough stepped up a gear in the second forty five and blew their landlords away.

Whilst Slough had the better of the play in the opening forty five, they were not testing Martini in the Windsor goal. Whilst the bobbly surface was not helping the style of play Denton is imposing on his side, they are still attempting to move the ball around to feet and feed dangerous balls into the area. Windsor though did fashion the best chance of the half when Eloumani went close just before the half was completed.

Slough did have a decent effort themselves before half time. Mason cut inside from the right byline and had a shot which was well saved by the Windsor keeper, palming the ball away whilst diving to his right.

The second half was a different affair and Slough found their scoring boots. The opening minute of the half saw Slough win a free kick on the left. Harris lofted the ball into the back post and Matt Murphy rose above his marker to head in at the far post.

Buoyed by the goal, Slough dominated. Seedel stung the palms of Martini from just outside the area. With fifty six minutes gone, Mason was brought down in the corner and from the resulting free kick from Michael Murphy, Matt Murphy timed his run perfectly and the ball fell into the right area for the striker to run in and power a header past Martini, despite the keepers best efforts to keep it out.

A third followed five minutes later. Mason worked his way into the box and fed the ball square to Seedel. The strikers touch put him past Parsons and he slammed the ball off the underside of the bar from eight yards out.

Nine minutes later and the rout was complete. Mason was brought down in the area and Murphy stepped up to complete his hat-trick with a dinked conversion from the spot.

Slough were in complete control and their confidence was visible. A great second half from the Rebels and it completed a derby double over their landlords.
