Cup specialists Aylesbury United progressed to the next round of the FA Trophy with two second half goals from midfielder Ollie Stanbridge. The first half was starved of goalmouth action, but Aylesbury did have an early chance when Steve Clark fired Dwain Clark's header over the bar. Former Slough Town youth player Dwain Clark had another chance midway through the half.

A long kick by Adam Wheeler fell nicely to Clark who saw his dipping volley acrobatically turned over the bar by Steve Mautone. Despite the lack of chances there was plenty of incident with Slough's Junior Haynes and Aylesbury's Frank McCormack both being given red cards following a scuffle between the two players just before half time.

The second half was largely dominated by the Ducks. They took the lead when Dwain Clark's angled free kick cannoned off the post & Stanbridge scored from the rebound. Midway through the second half, the Rebels had another opportunity. Veli Hakki crossed towards Michael Bartley who saw his header go over the bar. The away side killed off the game deep into the second half. Dwain Clark beat Anthony Howard and crossed for Stanbridge to head the ball into the net, for his second goal of the match. Despite Slough having a lot of pressure late on they could not find their way past the strong Aylesbury defence with Daniel Gordon, Aylesbury's centre back particually impressing.

Aylesbury now face Aldershot Town in the next round of the competition
