Man Of Match: Micky Kiely

TWO players were sent off as Slough and Harrow shared the points in a sometimes physical match at Earlsmead.

Charlie Marks of Slough and Tony Docherty of Harrow were given their marching orders after throwing punches in a scuffle midway through the second half. Marks is the third Slough player to be sent off in the last four weeks and this record cannot please manager Laurie Churchill.

Until the match exploded, the pace was fast and fairly competitive for an end of the season fixture. Harrow took the lead in the 30th minute through a well struck volley from Peter Sharrett, the club's leading scorer so often checked by league club scouts.

Slough equalised in the 54th minute when Pat Morrissey put Charlie Marks through and he slotted the ball past the keeper.

Micky Kiely thought he had put Slough ahead two minutes later, but the effort was ruled out by the referee.
