Experienced goalkeeper Paul Strudley joined the Rebels in March 2017 after Mark Scott suffered a broken bone in his neck, which ruled him out of the club's Southern League, Premier Division promotion push.Paul played a major role in Hungerford Town's promotion from the same league the previous year, making 49 appearances in total and keeping an impressive 22 clean sheets in the league.
Having been displaced at Hungerford in season 2016/17, he went on to play for Combined Counties Premier League leaders Hartley Wintney, where he was also in fine form before linking up with Neil Baker and Jon Underwood's squad.
