Dave Anderson

Dave Anderson Position: Management

Bio

Dave Anderson held the post of assistant manager at Slough Town between June 2010 and June 2011.

Anderson was a goalkeeper during his playing days and had youth contracts with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield United. He went home to Northern Ireland to play for Glentoran and Bangor. He represented Northern Ireland at Schoolboy, Youth and B level. While at Bangor his playing career was prematurely ended by injury at the age of 23.

Anderson moved back to England and embarked on a career in management at non-League level, being associated with over ten teams in the course of a career lasting over two decades - including Enfield, Aylesbury United, St Albans City, Harrow Borough, North Greenford United and Hendon.

He is perhaps best known for his time at AFC Wimbledon. Anderson was appointed as manager in the summer of 2004, and spent three years at the club.

After spells at Windsor & Eton, St Albans City and Northwood, Anderson spent a year as assistant manager at Slough before leaving to take the manager role at Harrow Borough. He stepped down from this role in January 2015.

Dave is also a regular guest on BBC London 94.9's show about non-League football, the Non-League Football Show.
