Mark Betts

Bio

Mark was introduced to the management team of Neil Baker and Jon Underwood in May 2013, and as the season progressed, became more and more involved with the first team, deputising when either of the joint managers was unavailable.

He is well liked by the lads, and also with his role as head of youth development, bridges the gap between the youth team and first team. He has already helped bring through Seb Castello and Mattie Bonnett.

Betts has been with the club for a number of years now, having played and managed. He took over the managerial reigns following the resignation of Darron Wilkinson in November 2007, but left the club in March 2008. He returned as head of youth development in the summer of 2011, bringing a wealth of local young talent to the club.
