However like we have experienced this season ourselves, for us to get anything out of the game tonight, we will probably have to step up those levels ten fold, as twice we have been the team that has not got the result expected at home, only to go away and put in a professional performance and progress.

Good evening and welcome to this evenings eagerly anticipated FA Cup first round replay against Sutton United.

We welcome Paul Doswell and his team to Arbour Park for the first time, and thank them for their welcome at Gander Green Lane 10 days ago.

We obviously have this game tonight after a nil nil draw 10 days ago, where we thought our lads put in an excellent performance against a very good National League Premier team.

However like we have experienced this season ourselves, for us to get anything out of the game tonight, we will probably have to step up those levels ten fold, as twice we have been the team that has not got the result expected at home, only to go away and put in a professional performance and progress.

Sutton come into this evenings game after getting an excellent draw away at Gateshead on Saturday, whilst we picked up only our second home defeat of the season to a strong Woking team.

However league form means nothing when it comes to the FA Cup, and both teams will be going hell for leather to try and get into the second round, which due to the game being picked up by the BBC highlights programme, means a minimum of almost 50k to the winning club, though the opportunity for a home game and a chance to get to the third round is what really excites, and enables you to dream.

We have no new injury news, and we will welcome James Dobson back from suspension tonight.

We really urge you to get behind the lads like never before, as we have a tall order to undertake, and would love Arbour Park to be rocking.

Let’s hope the footballing gods are looking down on us this evening.

Enjoy the game
