In particular we have done well defensively with just 4 goals conceded in 5 games. Newly promoted sides often struggle with this when stepping up so this is a really positive sign. We would like to have scored a few more goals but we are always confident that we will create chances and we are sure our return in front of goal will improve.

Good afternoon and welcome to Arbour Park for yet another attractive fixture with Dulwich Hamlet the visitors.

As managers we have come up against Gavin Rose and his assistant Junior Kadi a number of times over the years and have always been impressed with the teams they put together and the way they play. Last season we came from behind to win a close fought game here 3-2 in the FA Cup with Dulwich down to 10 men for over half of the game. We both went on to achieve promotion via the play-offs and there will be very little between the sides again today.

We have been generally pleased with the performances so far in the first 5 games. Looking back on those games there is a feeling that we might have picked up an extra 2 or 3 points but we have to be happy with the start we have made and our initial target to be competitive week in week out looks a realistic one.

In particular we have done well defensively with just 4 goals conceded in 5 games. Newly promoted sides often struggle with this when stepping up so this is a really positive sign. We would like to have scored a few more goals but we are always confident that we will create chances and we are sure our return in front of goal will improve.

With these notes being written before Saturday's game we can't be sure of team news but having gone in to the weekend with a fully fit 18 man squad we would hope to have some good options today with the plan being to utilise the squad over the weekend to give us the best chance of two positive results.

Attendances here at Arbour Park have been fantastic so far with an average of 920 across the first 3 games. It would be great see a similar number today and we know the Dulwich fans travel well and make some noise so hopefully there should be a great atmosphere for what should be a really decent game.
