Everyone is talking about the backlog of games that we face now and we do have a lot of midweek games stacking up but we would all rather be playing than training on a Tuesday night.

After a frustrating postponement at the weekend we look forward to a return to action tonight against Dorchester at Arbour Park.

Tonight’s opponents have significantly improved since an early season change in manager and the man responsible, former Rebel and Legend Steve Thompson, will no doubt get a warm reception tonight from our supporters.

Dorchester will be looking to increase their points tally and move up the table just as much as we are keen to get going again, so an interesting and tough game is in store.

Our only significant injury at the moment is Simon Dunn who damaged his medial ligaments against Hereford and we believe this will keep him out for another 3/4 weeks. Other than that we hope to pick from a full squad tonight and may well have 1 or 2 out playing games elsewhere to get match fitness as they did on Saturday.

Everyone is talking about the backlog of games that we face now and we do have a lot of midweek games stacking up but we would all rather be playing than training on a Tuesday night. It’s just something we have to get on with now and we certainly won’t be making an excuses. Please do your best to get behind the lads tonight as we try to get back on a winning run. We hope you enjoy the game!
