After today we have the unenviable task of Merthyr away on Tuesday night, which has to be one of the toughest trips to make in the league, however we hope to be at full strength for that and will look to head to Wales looking for the win.

Good afternoon and welcome to Arbour Park for today's league match against Biggleswade. Most will know that we have a good friendship with Chris Nunn the Manager at Biggleswade, however this will be put on ice as usual for 90 minutes, and win lose or draw we will share a beer in the bar afterwards. Last season saw two very contrasting displays where both sides won their home games relatively comfortable, and with the way Biggleswade have started the season, we know this will be a really tough game for us today.

We write these notes after the excellent win against Poole Town, and at the time of writing the notes await the draw for the next round, so hopefully by the time you are reading these we might have a home draw in the last qualifying round (home v Folkestone Invicta).

Obviously our main priority is promotion this season, however like any side at our level the FA Cup is an important distraction, and as we have not had any replays to date we are not too far behind in the league stakes, and with a couple of our so called rivals also still in the Cup, it hopefully means we won't get too far behind.

In terms of team news, we will hope that Dunny is making good progress, and could be an option at some stage next week, we are also monitoring Brad with his knee, and hopefully he will have come through Monday night’s game at Beaconsfield unscathed, we also miss Sean Fraser today due to a family engagement.

I myself will be missing the game today as I will be in Sicily with work, on our annual conference, which means I usually have to miss the one game a season, unfortunately this year it happened to fall on Non-League Day and against Biggleswade, however hopefully with the clubs ideas for NLD we will see an excellent crowd for the game, and some of the new fans for the day will enjoy themselves and come back again. NLD is a great initiative with Prostate cancer being the nominated charity, and hopefully as a club we can raise a decent amount.

Enjoy the game and get behind the lads as usual.
