I am sure they will come to us ready to put in a professional performance and we will hope of a cup upset, however in reality with our league performances and form, it effectively makes this a no lose game for us.

Good afternoon and welcome to Arbour Park for today's 3rd round qualifying FA Cup game against Conference South Dartford.

We would like to welcome Tony and his team to our new ground, and wish them a safe journey home.

I write these notes shortly after Tuesday's fantastic league win against Leamington, where we picked up our 7th successive victory in the league, and 9 in all competitions. The game itself was a tough slog against a decent Leamington side, however, despite having to make changes we remained strong defensively and took our chances when they came.

The FA Cup is a welcome distraction from the league and one where every player and Chairman dreams of a run to the 1st round proper, however, we could not got have got much more of a tougher game against a Dartford side who a couple of seasons back were plying their trade in the Conference National, and who are on a good run of form themselves in the Conference South.

I am sure they will come to us ready to put in a professional performance and we will hope of a cup upset, however in reality with our league performances and form, it effectively makes this a no lose game for us.

I can assure you that despite a few injury concerns we will be giving it our all, and will be doing our utmost best to try and progress to the next round.

In terms of injuries, we will be without Lee Barney, whilst Brad Hewitt is now on holiday, Mark Nisbet will have a fitness test on his ankle injury he sustained Tuesday.

We hope to welcome back Charlie Moone and it was also great to have Lewis Putman back from injury and able to take a place in the bench Tuesday.

As in recent weeks, please get behind the lads.
