Whatever happens with the rest of the season, it has certainly been a good year for the club, winning games changes people's ambitions, however the fact is we are in a strong position to claim a play-off place and with that an opportunity to play conference south football next season.

Good afternoon and welcome to today's league game against Kings Lynn.

The fixture at the Walks stadium earlier this year was probably one of the worst games for us this season, finding ourselves five nil down at half time after an awful journey to the ground, I am sure that the players were hurt by the events that night and will be looking to make amends.

I write these notes after a frustrating afternoon at Frome Town where we came away with an away defeat in what can only be described as one to forget, the game was ruined by a swirling wind and poor pitch which neither side could really get to grips with, however Frome scored their goal on the stroke of half time and managed to defend that for the rest of the game.

We had Chris Flood and Paul Stonehouse both missing from the game, however both will be available today, and we come into the game in good shape in terms of injuries.

We sit currently in those play off places with a 7 point gap on Banbury and only 5 to go, however we know we still have some work to do, and our focus is on trying to get a home semi-final game.

Whatever happens with the rest of the season, it has certainly been a good year for the club, winning games changes people's ambitions, however the fact is we are in a strong position to claim a play-off place and with that an opportunity to play conference south football next season.

Enjoy the game and get behind the lads as usual.
