Obviously we enter today in fantastic form with 7 wins from 7, and sitting top of the league, which is where we all want to be, however, we know how relentless this league can be, and we need to just keep chipping away at the points and let everything else take care of itself.

Good afternoon and welcome to Arbour Park for today's league fixture against Biggleswade. I would like to welcome Nunny and his team, someone myself and Jon have a lot of time for, however, as he well knows, friendships get put aside for 90 minutes whilst our team battle for the 3 points.

Obviously we enter today in fantastic form with 7 wins from 7, and sitting top of the league, which is where we all want to be, however, we know how relentless this league can be, and we need to just keep chipping away at the points and let everything else take care of itself.

I think with the side we put together we knew that we could be competitive this season, and arrest the form that had seen us finish bottom half for the last two seasons, however, I am not sure that either myself or Jon expected it to click so quickly. Credit has to go to the lads, who since we let go of the trialists in pre-season have gone on to win 12 games, draw one and lost one, and within that have had to adapt from home games at Beaconsfield to moving to the new stadium and all that entails. Our form on the road has also been good, and we only need 4 more points to match what we got away from home all of last season.

Today will be an extremely tough test, as Nunny always has his teams very well organised, and if fit have two of the best strikers in the league and in Craig Daniel one of the best players in the league (and someone who always seems to have a habit of scoring against us). Obviously we hope that we can continue the fine form and try to create more of a gap between us and the chasing pack for the play-offs.

In terms of squad news, we welcome Charlie Moone back after his groin injury, we also hope that Guy Hollis may be with us today, also returning from his holiday is Josh Jackman. Dan Hicks is available after suspension, which only really leaves us missing Puts who we hope to have back available earlier October. So as a squad of players it feels relatively strong, and will mean some hard decisions for myself and Jon, however, hopefully the players realise that they all have a huge part to play this season, and if they find themselves on the bench they need to remain patient, and take their chance when it comes again.

Enjoy the game and do your best to get back to support us Tuesday night for our first game under the lights against favourites Leamington.
