Good evening and welcome to Holloways Park for tonight's game against Stratford Town.

We write these notes after an important 3 points on Saturday away at Kings Langley where we did not start for the first 25 minutes, and found ourselves two down. However we showed good character to come back and get a late winner. We had said after the Banbury defeat that we would play a lot worse and win, however was not necessarily thinking it would be in the next game, though at this stage of the season it is not important how you get the 3 points, just that you get them.

Stratford had an excellent pre-season, and to be honest when they came to our place last season, we felt they were one of the best sides we had played all season, so was very surprised when their form dipped at the end of the season, it may have been something to do with the amount of games they had to play in a short period of time. They have pace going forward and will be a real threat tonight, and although they have not got that first win yet, I am sure they will come to us full of confidence.

Obviously if we were able to record another 3 points tonight, it would represent a fantastic start to the season, bearing in mind last season it took us 7 games to get our first 6 points. I am sure that over the next week or so, the new ground news will really ramp up and it will be a really exciting place to be, however, it is our job to try and put this to the back of our minds, and concentrate on the 3 games before the Hayes and Yeading United game.

We hope you enjoy the game and urge you to get behind the lads.

Come on you Rebels!
