I think there is an element of fatigue at the moment as it has been flat out since the season started, and that was our 21st competitive game in 11 weeks and with the amount of injuries a large number of players have played the majority of these games and can sometimes take its toll.

Good afternoon and welcome to Arbour Park for todays FA Trophy game against Bognor. Myself and Job would like to personally welcome Jamie and Dabba, as they are joint managers that we respect hugely and have had some excellent battles against in our time managing Godalming.

None more than a 4-4 play off semi final game which we ended losing on penalties due to a missed Ben Edwards kick, which for ms is still one of the most incredible games of football I have had the pleasure to be involved in. They are great guys, and again doing a fantastic job in the Ryman Premier despite when talking to Jamie in the summer, him saying to me he thought it might be a tough season due to the players lost.

This competition is obviously special to Bognor after they managed to get to the semi-finals of the competition last season, so we known what a tough job we have on our hands today.

I write these notes after the Dorchester win on Tuesday night, where we probably put on one of our poorest displays at home against a dogged Dorchester side, however as we said to the lads when you wake up Wednesday morning, you will be doing so with 3 points and that is the most important thing. Yes we would love to play fast free flowing football all the time, however, football is not that straight forward and you have to dig in sometimes and do what is necessary to get over the line, which the lads did.

I think there is an element of fatigue at the moment as it has been flat out since the season started, and that was our 21st competitive game in 11 weeks and with the amount of injuries a large number of players have played the majority of these games and can sometimes take its toll.

In terms of today we will be missing Mark Nisbet who will start his 3 game suspension, and also Simon Dunn who is unavailable due to his sisters wedding. We hope to have announced a loan forward this week, and there is an outside possibility that both Paul Stonehouse and Gavin James will return to the squad. Please get behind the lads as much as you can, and hopefully push us on to the next round.
