On Sunday 25 September Slough Town's PALS team began their campaign in the Pan-Disability Conference League in Marlow.
Training on the new Arbour Park pitch certainly paid off as the team started brightly and never let up all day. Solid in defence, well disciplined, and clinical in front of goal with six different goal scorers, we enjoyed an excellent first tournament of the year with the Rebels winning all six games.
Team captain Paul Wade was impressive throughout whilst the goal of the day has to be the long distance screamer from Brandon Sweeney.
The attitude and team spirit was as pleasing as the winning performances and bodes well for a successful season.
Results:
Marlow Gateway, won 2-0
Oxford City Hoops, won 3-1
Oxford Nomads, won 3-0
MK Stags, won 4-1
Northampton Town. won 4-0
MK Pumas, won 4-0
