Looking Ahead: Dartford

Neil Baker provides an update ahead of Slough's home FA Cup tie against Dartford at Arbour Park tomorrow (Saturday).

30/09/16

Tomorrow we can forget about league action, and enjoy the beauty that is the FA Cup with an extremely tough game at home against Dartford.

Whilst we have been concentrating so much on the league, we have not allowed ourselves to get caught up in the FA Cup, and it has only been the last day or two that we have really focused on what should be a great day for the club.

Squad wise we are in pretty good shape; we will be missing Brad Hewitt who is now away for the next three weeks, and Lee Barney will also miss out due to the ankle injury sustained against Biggleswade, however the prognosis is better than first thought and we hope that we may have him back within three weeks.

Mark Nisbet did not train last night following his ankle injury, however he is quite hopeful that he should be fit in time for the game.

On the plus side both Charlie Moone and Lewis Putman trained fully last night after their respective groin injuries, and that gives us a big boost having both back in the squad.

With it being an FA Cup tie, it enables us to have seven substitutes and we will take advantage of that for this game. The 18 man squad is as follows:

Mark Scott, Jamie Jackson, Sean Fraser, Josh Jackman, Paul Stonehouse, Guy Hollis, Mark Nisbet, Dan Hicks, James Dobson, Lewis Putman, Simon Dunn, Lee Togwell, Adrian Sear, Nathan Webb, Gurkan Gokmen, Warren Harris, Gavin James and Charlie Moone.
