After a fantastic week for the club we now set our attention to the FA Cup and tough trip to St Ives to play Cambridge City.
Cambridge are a fairly new side put together by new manager Dan Gleeson, and look to have started to gel with a fantastic result away at St Neots - however this was followed up with a home defeat by Hitchin where two of his starters from the Saturday did not start due to only getting to the game 15 minutes prior to kick off.
With the FA Cup league form goes flying out the window, and it comes down to who wants it the most on the day.
Every side would love a cup run and we are no different.
In terms of squad news, we have no new injury concerns ahead of the weekend; we will still be missing Josh Jackman (away), Guy Hollis (personal reasons), Lewis Putman (injured) and Dan Hicks (suspended). Charlie Moone will also have a fitness test to see if he can be an option after his groin tweak.
We welcome Jamie Jackson to the squad for the first time as cover for Scottie, as in the FA Cup you can have up to seven substitutes.
Squad from: Mark Scott, Jamie Jackson, Sean Fraser, Paul Stonehouse, Brad Hewitt, Mark Nisbet, James Dobson, Warren Harris, Gurkan Gokmen, Simon Dunn, Nathan Webb, Lee Togwell, Adrian Sear, Lee Barney, Gavin James and Charlie Moone.
