Slough Town's PALS (Participation Association Leisure and Sport) pan-disability team play in the BOBi League and have just completed a very successful season, finishing runners up in the Conference division.
Following the relocation of their manager to the north of England they are seeking a new manager to enable them to continue to play the game they love.
Slough Borough Council have kindly agreed to continue to run their weekly training sessions at Montem Leisure Centre; we have the promise of admin support; match day help and a driver to take them to their tournaments as well as financial backing but we haven't yet been able to recruit a new manager.
The commitment would be six Sundays a year (September October, November, March, April and May) to travel with the team to Oxford, Northampton or Marlow. There would need to be some communication in between with the team and their families and the other parties but on the whole the committment could be match day only.
If you have the skills and the time and would consider volunteering to fulfill this role please contact gensec@sloughtownfc.net for more information.
