We are delighted to announce that Charlie Strutton has signed for a third month on loan with us, which means he will stay until after the Boxing Day game.
This coincides with a situation that has come to light this week with Scott Harris, which means he is probably going to be unavailable for much of the next month. 'Hatchet' is self-employed and recently landed a big job, which means he is working most nights until past 10pm, and with a young family it is proving very difficult for him. With this in mind we have said to him to take the month off to get the job sorted and family life right, which enables us both to review the situation after Christmas.
As previously documented, Leigh Rumbold will be with us until the end of February but he will be away in the US, where his girlfriend is living, for four weeks over Christmas, and he flies out there after the St Neots game next Saturday. With this in mind we are looking to add another midfielder to the squad and have a 7-day approach in for a potential signing who we will be speaking with early next week.
