Looking Ahead: Dorchester Town

Joint manager Neil Baker looks ahead to this weekends fixture at home to Dorchester Town

19/12/14

Following Slough's fixtures away at Frome Town and St Neots Town the Rebels return to Holloways Park for what will be the first league fixture between themselves and Dorchester Town. Previous encounters between the two sides have only been in the FA Trophy with the Rebels yet to gain victory.

Ahead of the fixture joint manager Neil Baker commented on a new squad addition.

"After an impressive 4 point return last week, we return home to Holloways Park for our last home game of 2014.

In terms of the squad, we have signed a young centre half/full back called Luke Bersey from Hayes and Yeading, who made his debut for their 1st team at age 16, before rupturing his ACL, he has not had an awful amount of senior experience however, so this will help his development becoming part of a senior dressing room.

Jamie McClurg managed to get through a full training session last night, and will come back into the squad, which is an unexpected bonus, however we will still be without Billy Jeffreys (knee) and Reece Yorke (knee), however we are confident both could be available for the boxing day game.

Also James Dobson is suspended for one game following his red card at home against Dunstable."

Squad will therefore be from the following:

Somerville, Fraser, R Parsons, Hollis, Rumbold, Moran, J Parsons, Knight, McClurg, Edwards, Sear, Harris, Smith, Dyer, Betts, and Bersey.
