Slough travel to Frome Town for this weekend's Southern League Premier fixture.
The Rebels have faced the Somerset based side twice in their history but only in cup competitions where both sides hold a win a piece, Slough in the FA Cup winning 3-0 whilst Frome secured a 2-1 victory in the Red Insure Cup in 2012/13. This weekend marks their first competitive league fixture.
Ahead of the fixture, joint manager Jon Underwood provided an update on the squad:
"After Tuesday's confidence boosting win at St Neots we look forward to another trip tomorrow, this time to Frome who are currently 21st in the table. Our opponents will also be boosted by a midweek win having beaten Paulton 2-0 at home to end a win-less run of six games in the league.
We will travel down with a small squad of 14 players with the only addition from Tuesday being Tom Moran who was unavailable for that game due to work commitments and will replace young Oscar Betts who is not well.
Last Saturday Jamie McClurg and Billy Jeffreys picked up very similar injuries (medial ligament strains) but we don't believe they will be out for much more than another week or two. We will also be missing Reece Yorke for a few weeks as he has managed to get an infection in a cut on his knee which has caused him real problems this week and he has been given a two week course of antibiotocs and been told not to work or play football during that time.
Frome are not a side we have been able to watch yet this season but we have had several reports on them. We will obviously be looking to build on Tuesday's win and start another run but we are under no illusions that this will be a tough game. We have seen time and time again that there is no such thing as an easy game in this league and we will need the same level of effort, commitment and quality that we showed at St Neots if we are to come back with the points."
Squad - Somerville, Fraser, R Parsons, Moran, Hollis, Rumbold, Edwards, Sear, Knight, J Parsons, Dobson, Smith, Harris, Dyer.
