As part of our preparations for the coming season we are looking at resources required on matchdays. We currently have a few gaps and are appealing to our regular supporters who may be able to help. None of the roles require an excessive commitment and any assistance our supporters can offer will save us spending valuable funds bringing in external resources.
The roles in question are as follows:
First Aiders: We would like to hear from anyone who holds a formal first aid qualification and would be willing to just be on hand in the event of any minor incidents.
Stewards: We just need a small number of people to be on hand at specific times that typically won’t impact your ability to watch the game. There may be a small number of occasions when we ask for volunteers to don a steward jacket to bolster the presence of matchday officials. Alternatively there may be a small number of high profile matches where we require some additional bodies, mainly just to provide a visible presence.
