Slavi Spasov
We are delighted to announce that Slavi Spasov has signed a contract until the end of the 2024/25 season.
He joins Dan Bayliss, Leon Chambers-Parillon and David Ogbonna in committing his future to the club.
Manager, Scott Davies commented:
“Another great addition!
“I’m really pleased that Slavi has committed himself to the club for next season. I know at the time a few eyebrows were raised when Slavi signed (having not scored in 14 matches at Hungerford Town this season) but I think it’s fair to say that he’s certainly won the fans over and has become a really important player for us.
“The impact he’s had on the group has been brilliant since the day that he’s walked in. Four goals in four substitute appearances a couple of months ago has really given him the confidence and since then I think he’s been fantastic for us.
“Game time has been limited recently but his attitude has been first class, and for that reason, as a management team he’s someone that we are really looking forward to working with over the rest of this season and next - and hopefully helping him get back to the level that he wants to be at, which I believe he’s more than capable of achieving.”
Slavi added: “I’m really happy to have signed a contract with my local club.
“Over the past couple of years my football has been frustrating because of the injuries I’ve had to deal with, but I can finally say now that I’m over them and feel like I’m getting back to my best.

“Scotty, Yella and Chrissy have created a brilliant environment, one where the players can express themselves which I think is really important to get the best out of me.”
