Slough Town Football Club and the TSI World Bees Ice Hockey Club are delighted to link up to create the Sport in Slough Weekend, in partnership with Thames Motor Group.

The Sport in Slough Weekend will see Bees season ticket holders invited to attend a game, free of charge, at Arbour Park on a Saturday with Slough Town members attending a game at Slough Ice Arena the following day – showcasing the sport on offer here in Slough.

There will be two ‘Sport in Slough Weekends’ before the conclusion of the current ice hockey and football seasons – the first coming this weekend! Slough Town will be in action at 3pm on Saturday 17th February against Chippenham Town, with the Bees taking on the Hull Seahawks on Sunday 18th February with a 5pm faceoff. The weekends will also see both teams having a presence at the other’s game, firstly with Buzz making an appearance at Arbour Park on Saturday!

The weekends are in partnership with Thames Motor Group – long-time sponsors of both the TSI World Bees and Slough Town Football Club. Both clubs are incredibly grateful to Sanjay Sobte and his team at Thames Motor Group for their continued support and involvement in sport in the local community.

Bees Director, Graeme Bower commented: “We are really excited to be partnering up with Slough Town FC to showcase both sports in Slough. We are also very grateful to Sanj and his team, and Thames Motor Group for helping make this happen. We look forward to a long-term partnership with joint events and benefits to supporters of both clubs.”

Ashley Smith, CEO of Slough Town FC commented: “We are delighted to take part in the first ‘Sport in Slough Weekend’ this week and look forward to welcoming Bees season ticket holders to Arbour Park for Saturday’s match against Chippenham Town. We encourage Slough Town members to visit Slough Ice Arena on Sunday evening to take in the Bees’ game, as both clubs look to showcase the sporting talent on offer in the town. Our thanks go to Sanj and Thames Motor Group for facilitating this great offer.”

Slough Town members should look out for an email containing instructions on how to book their tickets for this Sunday’s Bees game.
