We can confirm that George Alexander has been recalled by his parent club Bromley.

Over two spells with the club, George scored 12 goals in 26 appearances, including the unforgettable four-goal haul against Chippenham Town and a hat-trick at Weston-super-Mare.

Manager, Scott Davies had the following to say on George's departure: "It’s extremely difficult to see George leave as he has become a good friend of everyone’s in the dressing room, both staff and players.

"I think the biggest compliment that I can pay him, is that without him last season we would’ve found ourselves in the Southern Premier League. The contribution he made was absolutely massive and I’ll certainly be forever grateful for what he gave us, not only last season but this season too.

"Looking further down the line, George wants to make sure that he remains full time after this season and I really hope that he can add goals to his tally to assure that the objective is met.

"It’s certainly a thank you from all of us at Slough Town. We wish him well in the next chapter of his career."

George Alexander had the following message: “Just wanted to say thanks to everyone at the club, management, players and fans, it’s been a pleasure. I’ve really enjoyed my time spent with Slough which has allowed me to get valuable game time and score some goals along the way.

“I’m in no doubt that Slough will start to climb the table very soon and be where they deserve to be in the league.

“I loved every minute of it.”

We wish George every success for the future.
