After a frustrating Saturday, the Rebels look ahead to a clash against 9th-placed St. Albans City, with Scott Davies' men making the short trip to Clarence Park, writes Freddie Gatrell.

St. Albans have had a mixed season so far, sitting in a favourable league position with a record of 6 league wins, 6 defeats, and 1 draw. The Hertfordshire-based outfit's most recent match against Chippenham Town was won by the Saints, ending a run of three straight defeats, including an Emirates FA Cup Third Round Qualifying defeat to Billericay Town.

Saints' manager, David Noble is an experienced ex-professional and ex-player of St. Albans, originally joining the club in 2017 in the latter stage of his career, before eventually progressing into a management role in November 2022. As a player, Noble made more than 300 appearances in the EFL for Watford, West Ham United, Boston United, Bristol City, Yeovil Town, Exeter City, Rotherham United, Cheltenham Town, and Oldham Athletic. Noble's vast footballing experience is paying dividends for his side, who will be a stern test for the in-form Slough side, which has not lost a match since early September. Our previous meeting against St. Albans was won by the Rebels, thanks to goals from Matt Lench and Scott Davies in a 2-1 away win.

Noble will be hoping his side can breach a hardy Slough Town defence, and will look to 30-year-old striker Mitchell Weiss for goals on Tuesday night, with the striker sitting in 5th position for goals scored this season, having registered 6 goals in 12 games so far. Weiss has been with the Saints since August 2020, when he signed from Kings Langley. The forward was an integral part of the Kings Langley squad, scoring 41 goals in all competitions, and will be closely monitored by the Slough Town defence.

Kick-off is at 7:45pm tomorrow (Tuesday 24 October), with live commentary available via Rebels Radio.
