We are delighted to announce the signing of 20-year-old goalkeeper Hubert Graczyk on a season-long loan from Arsenal.

Hubert was born in Zkwierzyna, Poland. He has previously represented England at youth level, but most recently represented Poland U19s.

Comfortable with the ball at his feet, Hubert is now in his sixth season at Arsenal, after joining from the Everton youth setup aged 14.

Hubert was the main goalkeeper for Arsenal U21s last season, making 24 appearances across all competitions. He was also the third-choice goalkeeper for the first team on a few occasions and has travelled with the senior squad to Dubai.

Scott Davies had the following to say on signing Hubert:

“I’m extremely pleased to get Hubert across the line for a season-long loan from Arsenal.

“We’ve taken our time in picking what we believe is the right keeper to fit into our plans as we feel it’s an important position that we have to get right.

“He comes with bags of experience from a training perspective, playing with world class players day in, day out and we hope that he can transfer that to matches whilst playing for Slough Town.

“We managed to speak with players and staff at Arsenal that we knew and everyone spoke very highly of his ability, work ethic but also about him as a person.”
