On Wednesday 7 June (kick-off 7.30pm), Neil Baker and Jon Underwood will be putting together an ‘Old Boys’ Slough Town FC team to play at Arbour Park in a charity game against Friends Fighting Cancer (‘FFC’).

FFC was founded in 2008 as Football for Cancer and changed its name in 2019. They have subsequently raised over £1 million to date for local cancer charities.

The charity has in the past hosted multiple football tournaments, golf days, boxing events amongst many other fundraising initiatives.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of FFC, the charity is playing 15 football matches across 15 counties over 15 consecutive days.

There will be no cost for entry, and we only ask that a contribution can be made to the charity on the night via a bucket collection. It would be great to see as many Slough Town fans there as possible.

Some of the players confirmed to be playing are as follows:

Neil Baker, Jon Underwood, Trent Phillips, Mark Nisbet, Ben Harris, Ryan Bird, James Dobson, George Wells, Jamie McClurg, Ryan Parsons, George Short, Ben Edwards, Dave Woozley, Scott Harris, Dan Read, Aaron Kuhl, Jon Palmer, Manny Williams and Sam Togwell with others to be confirmed.

The bar and kitchen will be open, as well as the club shop, with many new clothing lines on sale! We will also be screening the Europa Conference League final, West Ham United v Fiorentina.
