Kettering Town: Matchday arrangements

Important information for supporters attending the Play-Off Semi-Final against Kettering Town at Arbour Park on Wednesday evening.

02/05/18

After securing third place in the EVO-STIK South Premier on Saturday, Slough Town will have home advantage in the Play-Offs and will welcome Kettering Town to Arbour Park this Wednesday evening (2 May).

We would like to draw to the attention of supporters the following matchday arrangements ahead of the match, which will kick-off at 19:45.

Admission
The turnstiles and bar facilities will be open from 18:15. The bar will also be screening the Roma v Liverpool Champions League match. In addition, there will be a temporary bar behind the East Stand.

All tickets will be sold at the turnstiles on the night and will not be sold in advance. Please note that season tickets are NOT valid for this match. To reduce queues it would be useful if supporters could bring the correct change for entry.

Admission prices are in line with our regular League pricing structure, as below:

Adult (18-64) - £11
Concession (65+) - £7
Student (16-17, Student) - £5
Child (5-15) - £2 (12 year old and under must be accompanied by an Adult)
Infant (0-4) - Free

Seating
Slough supporters with reserved seating in the West Stand will be able to occupy their seats for this match.

All other seating is unreserved and available on a first come, first served basis.

Parking
Please note that parking permits for Arbour Park and St Joseph’s School will NOT be valid for this match. All available parking at Arbour Park (SL2 5AY), Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy (SL2 5AY) and St Joseph’s School (SL2 5HN) will be unreserved and available on a first come, first served basis.

This includes disabled parking spaces, which are specifically designated and available on a first come, first served basis. Blue Badges must be clearly displayed in vehicles – this will be monitored by our parking stewards.

We would advise supporters to arrive early and please follow the advice of our parking stewards on the night.

Off-street parking is extremely limited around Arbour Park - however there are a number of car parks within walking distance. We would strongly encourage supporters to car-share or travel by public transport where possible. The ground is conveniently situated approximately half a mile from the train and bus stations where plenty of car parking can also be found. Click the link for more information. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to walk to Arbour Park from the train and bus stations and the various car parks.

If you do park in residential streets, please be respectful to our neighbours – keep noise to a minimum, and do not litter. When parking, do not block entranceways and driveways, and do not park dangerously, including on blind corners.

Arbour Park ground regulations
Please be aware that in line with the latest Government event safety advice, searches of bags and coats will take place. Anyone in possession of pyrotechnics or other objects such as flares, smoke bombs or bangers will be refused entry. Any anti-social behaviour will be taken very seriously and CCTV is in place at the ground to monitor behaviour and record events. Any acts of criminal damage or vandalism, including but not limited to the throwing of objects onto the pitch, will result in immediate ejection from the ground and prosecution.

A full list of Arbour Park ground regulations may be found on our Official Website here.

Public transport

There are various other ways of getting to the ground:

Rail
Slough Rail Station is on the line from London Paddington. Visiting supporters from Kettering will need to take the East Midlands Trains service and change at London St Pancras International.

Bus and taxis
For Elliman Avenue use route 1 (Britwell - Slough) or 12 (Burnham - Britwell - Manor Park - Slough). Bus 353 also stops opposite Arbour Park. Buses are operated by First Group - or of course taxis are available from the station.

PlusBus is available as an add-on rail ticket and for £3 per day offers unlimited bus travel on that day. These are available from ticket offices, machines and online.

Cycle
For those of you who wish to cycle, a cycle map of the borough is available from Slough Borough Council and the ground does have cycle racks. Alternatively at Slough Station (Brunel Way) secure indoor bike storage is available – the first month is free and then 50p per day thereafter (only charged on days used) – to find out more visit Cycle Hub Slough.

If you don’t want to use your own bike, Cycle Hire Slough is available at nine sites across the borough and the nearest docking station is at Slough Station (Brunel Way).
